Hi All Firstly, congratulations to all our athletes who took part on Saturday at the Regional Games. You all looked superb, remembered the skills and were polite and thanked the officials. Many thanks also to your parents and coaches for their support. Many many thanks to the committee who arrange the competition, particularly Richard, Ros and Mike; to the sponsors, Typhoo and to the Lions on the day.

Reminders –

Arrive to register at 6.15 to pay your subs so we can still start on time. Wear Orwell Panthers kit for club nights (not Special Olympics – these are for SO competitions.) Bring spikes for running, javelin and long jump (if wet, cannot perform without them) Bring a drink, but not fizzy please, in a sports bottle or plastic bottle. (no free drinks!) No mobiles are allowed on the track or field.

Health and Safety Only qualified coaches – plus parents trained by Margaret or Mitzi are allowed on the field. We are looking to do a Health and Safety course particularly for those parents who are already helping on the field one evening during training in the Autumn.
